- Participants are responsible for ensuring they are confident and capable in a water environment.
- This facility operates without a lifeguard on duty.
Health and Medical Considerations
For your safety, please seek medical advice before participating if you:
- Have a chronic health condition.
- Are pregnant.
- Have recently sustained an injury.
- Have any medical condition or disability that may impact participation.
Please speak with an instructor before entering the water if you:
- Are attending for the first time.
- Are an inexperienced or non swimmer.
- Have any health or mobility concerns.
Participation Guidelines and Shared Space Expectations
For the safety of all participants:
- Choose a position in the pool appropriate to your fitness level and water ability.
- Follow all instructor directions at all times.
- Be mindful of others. Aquafit is a shared, adaptive space.
- Allow space for participants with varying abilities.
- Be respectful, inclusive, and considerate of others.
- Adjust your movements where needed to ensure a safe environment for all.
Class Etiquette
- If you arrive late, please wait for instructor approval before entering the pool.
- Respect the flow of the class and other participants.
Compliance
- All participants must follow staff instructions and centre rules.
- Failure to comply may result in removal from the class.
