2 – 4 months old – 20 minute class
This is an introduction into the water for our youngest learners and their parents.
Our friendly instructors are here to help you build confidence holding and moving your little one in the water, while providing the foundations for further skill building . Through the use of songs and a variety of sensory experiences we aim to strengthen the connection between parents, their little ones and the water.

Welcome to our newest program – Guppies is a class designed specifically for our youngest of learners. Between the ages of 2-4 months we invite parents and babies to join us in a sensory experience full of songs and confidence building activities. Our 20 minute class is all about your baby! There are no expectations, every little one is an individual. Some babies will cry, some will fuss, some may even fall asleep, but the most important thing is the comforting cuddles from mum and dad. Best of all, these important foundation sessions are free!
- Providing a place for parents to learn how to hold and move their babies in the water safely
- Offering a variety of positive water safety experiences
- Developing foundation skills for the future
- Building a bonding experience through song and movement
We are well aware those first few months of parenthood can feel the tough and lonely at times, so we provide a class where parents have a chance to connect with other families experiencing similar things.
Water Babies
6 months – 2.5 yrs – 30 minute class
Our instructors work with, and support small group of babies (swimmers) and their responsible adult in these lessons.
In this class babies enter the water with their Parents/carers. The class builds your child’s sensory skills, confidence and enjoyment in the water though songs, water play and special games.

Defined according to confidence and ability. These lessons are designed to introduce your baby to an aquatic environment.

Water Toddlers – at this level, your child’s first lesson with us is free
Approx 2.5 yrs to 4 years – 30 minute class
Maximum of 3 children with instructor in each class.
Class focus:
- Developing a trusting relationship with instructor
- Independent movement through deep water
Children in this age group start in our Tadpoles classes and when they meet specific skill and confidence requirements are progressed through to Frogs.

Aquatic Adventurers – at this level, your child’s first lesson with us is free
4 + years – 30 minute class
Confidence, Coordination and Independence. Maximum of 4 children with instructor in each class.
These classes are the beginning of more structured lessons. Skills children learn include:
- Submerging face and confidently blowing bubbles
- Successfully propel themselves through water (Torpedo)
